FLU Vaccination:
If you are 65 or over and/or are in the Clinical risk groups listed below, then we will again be holding open days for patients requiring a flu vaccine.

Do I need to Pay for the Flu Vaccine ?
The Flu Vaccine is free to:
All people over the age of 65.
or:
People of all ages who are in the following Clinical risk groups:
  1. Chronic respiratory disease and asthma that requires continuous or repeated use of inhaled or systemic steroids or with previous exacerbations requiring hospital admission
  2. Chronic heart disease
  3. Chronic renal disease
  4. Chronic liver disease
  5. Chronic neurological disease
  6. Diabetes
  7. Immunosuppression
  8. Pregnant women
Patients who want to have a Flu Vaccine but do not qualify under the criteria above, can attend The Ross Practice for a Private Vaccination @ £20 per vaccine. Please note that patients with chronic diseases will take priority over other patients.
We are aware that Supermarkets may be offering a cheaper service but, unlike a Supermarket, we have a Doctor on site when any vaccination is given and a full record of the vaccination given will be attached to the patient´s medical records.
