FLU Vaccination 2008:
We will again be holding open days for patients requiring a flu vaccine.
Patients wishing to receive the vaccination should contact reception.

Do I need to Pay for the Flu Vaccine ?
The Flu Vaccine is free to:
All people over the age of 65.
or:
People of all ages who suffer with:
  1. Chronic respiratory disease and asthma that requires continuous or repeated use of inhaled or systemic steroids or with previous exacerbations requiring hospital admission
  2. Chronic heart disease
  3. Chronic renal disease
  4. Chronic liver disease
  5. Chronic neurological disease
  6. Diabetes
  7. Immunosuppression
Patients who want to have a Flu Vaccine but do not qualify under the criteria above, can attend The Ross Practice for a Private Vaccination @ £20 per vaccine.
We are aware that Supermarkets may be offering a cheaper service but, unlike a Supermarket, we have a Doctor on site when any vaccination is given and a full record of the vaccination given will be attached to the patient´s medical records.

Surgery Closed:
Except for any pre-booked appointments, the surgery will be closed on Wednesday 14th Jan 2009 from 12.30pm for staff training purposes. The surgery doors will re-open on Thursday 15th Jan at 8.30am.
